This Privacy Policy explains how Tidewater Studios LLC collects, uses, shares, retains, and protects information in connection with WaveMaster Pro and related support communications. By using the Service, you acknowledge the practices described in this Policy.

Local audio processing notice.

Audio files are processed locally in your browser during normal operation. They are not uploaded to Tidewater Studios’ servers for normal mastering, payment, or download unlock functionality.

2. Payment Information

Payments are processed by third-party payment processors such as Stripe and PayPal. We do not store full credit card numbers, bank account numbers, payment authentication credentials, or full financial account details. Stripe and PayPal may collect and process payment information under their own terms and privacy policies.

3. Why We Use Information

  • To operate, secure, and maintain the Service.
  • To create and verify paid export unlocks.
  • To prevent duplicate charges, fraud, abuse, and payment disputes.
  • To respond to support, refund, accessibility, and contact requests.
  • To comply with legal, tax, accounting, payment processor, and security obligations.
  • To improve reliability, user experience, and mobile delivery behavior.

4. Local Processing and Local Storage

The Service uses browser technology to process audio locally. Your browser may store temporary data, rendered files, paid access status, and recovery records using localStorage, IndexedDB, cache storage, or equivalent browser storage. This storage remains on your device and may be deleted by you, your browser, private browsing settings, operating-system cleanup, or device policies.

If local storage is deleted or unavailable, same-browser re-download or recovery may not be possible.

5. Disclosure of Information

We may disclose information to service providers and processors who help us operate the Service, including payment processors, hosting providers, security/logging providers, email/support providers, analytics providers if enabled, and professional advisers. We may also disclose information if required by law, subpoena, legal process, tax obligations, payment dispute procedures, fraud prevention, or to protect rights, safety, and security.

6. Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including transaction verification, refund/dispute handling, security, tax/accounting obligations, and support history. Local browser data remains on your device until you, your browser, or your operating system deletes it.

7. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We and third-party providers may use cookies, local storage, session storage, or similar technologies for essential site functionality, checkout, payment security, fraud prevention, analytics if enabled, and same-browser recovery. See the Cookie Policy for additional detail.

8. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection regarding personal information. You may also clear browser storage directly in your browser settings. To submit a privacy request, contact Tidewater Studios contact page. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate for a small commercial software service. No method of transmission, storage, browser processing, or payment integration is guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device, browser, email account, and payment credentials.

10. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13. Users under 18 must have permission from a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

11. International Users

If you access the Service outside the United States, you understand that information may be processed in the United States or other jurisdictions where our service providers operate.

12. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updated versions are effective when posted unless otherwise stated.
